| Highlights
from January 18, 2007 |
| Tim welcomed everyone to tonight's show, then he
led us all in the "Pledge To The Flag". He also
invited everyone to watch Song of the Mountains on
Blue Ridge Public TV every Thursday at 10 pm. The next Song
of the Mountains show is Saturday, February 3, 2007 at the
Lincoln Theatre in Marion, VA. For info visit
www.songofthemountains.org. |

| The ever-popular
Lightnin' Charlie kicked off tonight's show, and as
always he did another great job on the Pickin' Porch
performing many favorites for the audience. He also did many
requests that the crowd shouted out for him to perform. |

| Much the the crowd's delight, Charlie's lovely wife
Beth joined him on stage to help out on several numbers.
They sang several beautiful duets, but the songs that the
audience really reacted to were the beautiful gospel songs
they sang! |

| Funny man Ed Carter took the stage to share a
couple of "true" stories. Well, he said they were
true stories...but everyone in the audience had serious
doubts about that! |

| Tim,
Mac
Puckett and
Teddy
Helton did the last 45 minutes of the show. Mac
truly sang his heart out while Tim and Teddy provided some
fine instrumentation for Mac. Tim sang lead on the old
favorite "The Crawdad Song" and Mac sang the tenor.
Teddy did not sing tonight but promised that in three weeks
he would sing a new song he is learning. |

As always, a great time was had by all as all the great
music and comedy filled the air inside the Comfort
Systems USA Performance Center. You're invited to join
us again next week when Pine Ridge Bluegrass takes
the Pickin' Porch stage!
