| Tim kicked off another great evening at the
Pickin' Porch by leading the audience in the "Pledge
Of Allegiance" and reminding everyone about the upcoming
Song Of The Mountains concert featuring the
Stevens Family Band and Smyth County, Virginia's
Fescue.
Why not head on over to the beautiful Lincoln Theater
on November 4 and find out for yourself what all the
excitement is about? |

| Tonight's entertainment got under way as
Bill
and Maggie Anderson from Woodlawn, Virginia took the
Pickin' Porch stage. They started their set with a
very beautiful rendition of the wonderful gospel tune "Little
Mountain Church House", and everyone knew right away
that these folks were going to put on a great show! Over the
course of the next 50 minutes they picked and sang one great
song after another...even the timeless Roy Acuff
classic "Wabash Cannonball"! |

|
Robby
Spencer and
Teddy
Helton treated the audience to fine performances of
"Over The Rainbow" and "Alabama Jubilee", two
of their most requested tunes. Robby had taken a few weeks
off, and everyone was thrilled to have him back! |

Mac Puckett lives in Atlanta, Georgia now, so
it's always a real treat when he comes "back home" and steps
onto the Pickin' Porch stage. Mac is one of the most
expressive singers you'll ever see, and what a singer he is!
He routinely hits notes so high that dogs come running from
five surrounding states!
Of course his guitar work is among the best in the business
as well, and he put it to good use by pickin' "Spinning
Wheel" and several other great old favorites. |

It was great to have the Skinner Family back on
The Pickin' Porch Show, and as always they did an
excellent job on a number of traditional Country and
Bluegrass favorites including "Whispering", "Nine
Pound Hammer", and the
Carter Family classic "Wildwood Flower".
Young Zane and Alyssa were outstanding on
mandolin and dobro. These two extremely talented kids just
keep getting better and better all the time and the Skinners
are quickly becoming one of the region's most popular
Bluegrass groups. |

| Andrew was so impressed by grandpa Tim's banjo
work that he stopped right in front of the stage - balloon
in hand - to check out all the action. The Pickin' Porch
audience has become accustomed to having Andrew roam around
the Comfort Systems USA Performance Center, and they
love coming to the Pickin' Porch show every week to
see just what antics he'll be up to next! |

Well, another great time was had by all at The
Pickin' Porch Show as friends old and new took the stage
to share their wonderful talents with us. If you enjoy great
family entertainment, you owe it to yourself to come out for
next week's show as well when
Lightnin' Charlie and the
Lighting Zephyr Bolts take the stage.
