| Tonight's Pickin' Porch Show was a very special
one indeed. Tim kicked off the evening by leading the
audience in the "Pledge to the Flag" after which the new
William "Billy" Sage exhibit for the
Mountain Music Museum was unveiled. And of course there
was plenty of great music and comedy as well! |

| Tommy Freeman and several members of Billy
Sage's family looked on with pride as Billy's good
friend and music partner Homer Blankenship helped Tim
unveil the new William "Billy" Sage museum exhibit. In fact,
the entire evening was dedicated to Billy and his many
accomplishments in life and Bluegrass music. |

Every bit of tonight's musical entertainment was
provided by
Tommy
Freeman & Tennessee Skyline, one of the most
accomplished and entertaining Bluegrass bands in the
country.
These wonderful performers picked and sang their hearts out
for the better part of two hours on a mixture of old
standards and original songs, all of which were simply
outstanding! They capped off tonight's show with a fine
rendition of one of my all-time favorite gospel tunes,
A.P. Carter's "Will The Circle Be Unbroken"! |

| After the show had come to an end, Billy Sage's wife
Carolyn joined daughter Susan, son Jerry,
granddaughter Jessica and grandson Josh on
stage to pose for a picture with the new museum exhibit
honoring Billy's life and his many contributions to Mountain
music. What a wonderful end to a wonderful evening! |

Tonight's show offered plenty of fine entertainment as
usual, but the unveiling of the Billy Sage exhibit was the
highlight of the evening. If you missed it you really missed
out on a great time. We invite you to come out to the
Bristol Mall next Thursday at 7pm and experience The
Pickin' Porch Show for yourself!
