| As usual, Tim kicked off tonight's show by
leading the audience in the "Pledge to the Flag",
then he reminded everyone about the
Song Of The Mountains Festival coming up June 28-30 in
Smyth County, Virginia. |

| Tonight's Pickin' Porch Show also doubled as a
release party for Tim's new CD entitled "Tim White with
Banjo and Friends". Throughout the show, Tim picked and
sang along with several of the "Friends" who
performed on the CD along with him, including... |

| Cute Little Mac Puckett performed with Tim and
The VW Boys for about a year, and he still picks and sings
with them every chance he gets. Always a crowd favorite, Mac
sure put on a fine performance with the guys tonight! |

| Tim Laughlin is one of the best-known and most
popular Bluegrass singers and musicians in the Appalachian
region. His mastery of both the mandolin and fiddle is
legendary, and you're likely to find him pickin' along with
a number of different groups - often on the same night! |

| Kevin Jackson is an accomplished fiddle player,
and one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. Kevin is a
long-time personal friend of Tim's, and they have performed
together many times over years, including the time they
spent with the wonderful Bluegrass band Troublesome
Hollow. Tonight, Kevin treated the audience to plenty of
his famous "left-handed fiddling", and it was certainly much
appreciated! |

The Comfort Systems USA Performance Center came
alive this evening with two hours of great Bluegrass music,
performed by a group of guys who are more than outstanding
musicians - they're also great friends. But if you missed
out on the fun, don't despair - you can join us next week
when we'll do it all over again with
Jackie Kincaid (mandolin player and tenor singer for
Larry Sparks) & Clarence Kelly taking the stage!
