| Tonight's Pickin' Porch Show festivities got
underway much earlier than usual when the evening's featured
performers
Kentucky Rain signed CDs from 4-5 pm in the
Mountain Music Museum & Gift Shop. Visiting the
museum is always lots of fun because of the tons of
wonderful displays and great merchandise you'll find there! |

And one of the greatest treasures you'll find in the
museum and gift shop is a wonderful lady by the name of
Phyllis Helton. Since Phyllis is busy working most every
Thursday night, she rarely gets to see her husband
Teddy
play bass or guitar with their friend
Robby
Spencer during their weekly performances on The
Pickin' Porch Show.
In addition to being an exceptional human being, Phyllis is
also a very hard worker who is dedicated to helping preserve
the Birthplace Of Country Music region's proud
musical heritage by spending countless hours working in the
museum and gift shop each week. Phyllis, thanks so much for
everything you do to help keep this wonderful facility open
and growing! |

| The affable Frank Carmack filled in for Tim
tonight, and as always he did a great job. The audience
loves Frank and he really seems to enjoy himself every time
he is up on the Pickin' Porch stage. Hopefully it
won't be too long before we get to see him up there pickin'
again! |

The afore-mentioned fine Bluegrass group
Kentucky Rain thrilled the Pickin' Porch
audience tonight by pickin' and singin' for virtually the
entire two hours. These talented young men did an excellent
job on many old favorites, including the Bill Monroe
standards "Working On A Building" and "Blue Moon
Of Kentucky".
I have had the opportunity to see Kentucky Rain perform on
several occasions, and they always put on a great show by
treating the audience to some of the finest instrumental and
vocal work in the business - and they're fast becoming
Pickin' Porch favorites! |

| Kentucky Rain's lively dance tunes had several
dancers out on the floor for much of the evening. They
obviously had a great time since they kept smiles on their
faces and their bodies in motion for the better part of two
hours! |

It was another fun and exciting evening in the
Comfort Systems USA Performance Center as Kentucky Rain
put on a very entertaining show. We invite you to come on
out to the Bristol Mall next Thursday when
Acoustic Heritage will be the featured performers.
Tim & Debbie Yates and the gang are some of the most
amazing singers and musicians you'll ever hear so you sure
won't want to miss next week's show!
