The band hails from the beautiful state of Alaska but is currently living and working in Branson, Missouri at the Circle B Theatre. This family entertained the audience with bluegrass tunes like "Rough & Rocky", "Mule Skinner Blues" and "Orange Blossom Special". They also treated the crowd to some fine dancing and funny stories. Band members include Brett (dad)  on spoons and vocals, Apryll (mom) playing rhythm guitar, Kendra, age 19  guitar, fiddle and vocals, LaRae, age 17 banjo, fiddle and vocals, Alisa, age 15 fiddle, mandolin and vocals, Meghan, age 13 bass and vocals......

The three youngest of the Walker Clan joined in on a couple of numbers. Sean, age 10 on fiddle....

Joesph, age 8 playing fiddle....

 Ammon, age 6 on bass......

The second half of the evening Overdrive Bluegrass entertained the crowd. They picked such bluegrass standards as "Free Born Man" and "Black Mountain Rag" and gospel numbers like "Beautiful Life". Band members include Dwayne Anderson from Livingston, Tennessee playing bass, Tom Cecil of Thomasville, North Carolina on banjo, Meredith Goins from Dunlap, Tennessee playing fiddle, Jared Hensley of Madison County North Carolina playing guitar and Tyler Williams of Ohio singing vocals.

That wraps up another great evening here at the Pickin' Porch. Drop by next week when Jeff Orr and Wildwood Rhythm are scheduled to perform.
