Bill and Maggie Anderson of Fancy Gap, Virginia were first to take the Pickin' Porch stage. They treated the audience to lots of old-time tunes like "Wabash Cannonball" and "Remember Me".

The Skinner Family Band from Bluff City, Tennessee entertained the crowd with several bluegrass standards including "Are you missing me" and "Home Sweet Home". Band members are Jason Skinner on banjo, Jennifer Skinner on guitar, Zayn Skinner, age 13, playing mandolin, Alyssa Skinner, age 10, playing dobro and Teddy Helton on bass.

Chuck Carrier of Bristol, Tennessee joined the Skinner Family Band on the tune "I'm Using My Bible for a Roadmap".
