Pickin' Porch October 22, 2009 Tim White was back this week and after a few announcements got the show underway.
Harley & 37 Strings was first up and treated the
audience to lots of great bluegrass. Members include Harley Hammonds on
guitar/mandolin, Tim Hammonds on guitar, Robby Taylor playing bass,
Crystal Shipley playing mandolin/fiddle, Amanda Gardner on
mandolin/lead vocals and Josh Hamm on banjo.
The South Carolina Broadcasters www.myspace.com/thesouthcarolinabroadcasters came
up from Charleston to play for us. Members include Ivy Lindley on
fiddle/guitar/banjo and David Sheppard playing guitar/fiddle.
Today Tom Luker is celebrating his 85Th birthday.
Tim White, Teddy Helton and Mac Puckett joined Tom on stage and played a few tunes while Harley and 37 Strings took a well deserved break.     |
