Tim White got things started with a few announcements about some great performers coming to the area this Saturday. Wayne Henderson and Jeff Little will be at the Carter Family Fold www.carterfamilyfold.org and the Primitive Quartet, Anderson & Strickland and Vinny Ringrose will be in Marion, Virginia at the Lincoln Theatre www.songofthemountains.org.

Tim White, Mac Puckett and Murphy White opened the show with a few tunes.

Three talented youngsters from the Appalachian Christian Academy stopped by the porch and picked a couple numbers. Playing guitar was Sam Gleaves-17, playing bass was Miranda Brewer-15 and playing banjo was Michael W. Brewer-15.

Elkville String Band from Wilkes County, North Carolina pleased the crowd with lots of great tunes. Members include Drake Walsh playing fiddle, Herb Key on guitar, Bill Williams on bass and Jim Lloyd playing banjo.

Roadhouse Noah of Blountville, Tennessee played a mix of gospel, country and bluegrass. Members are Felicia Sturgill, Lelia Malone, Tony Malone and DeWayne Sturgill.
