Tim began tonight's show by telling everyone about
the upcoming
Song of the Mountains concerts. Check out their website
for more information. |

| The first band to take the stage was Addie Keene &
Friends from the Kingsport, Tennessee area. Addie
and the guys always put on a great show with Country tunes
like the Merle Haggard hit, "Today I Started
Loving You Again" and "You Ain't Woman Enough"
made famous by Loretta Lynn. Band members include
Addie Keene playing guitar and singing vocals, Mike
Smith playing bass, Tom Ratliff on dobro and
Bruce Knight playing lead guitar. |

| Caitlyn and Christina, the Chik-Fil-A
Chicks stopped by the porch to tell the audience about
one of our fine sponsors: Chik-Fil-A. |

| Ed Carter entertained the crowd with a couple of
"true" stories. |

The second band of the evening were a group of young
folks, all students from the East Tennessee State University
Bluegrass Program. They call themselves
Overdrive Bluegrass Band. They treated the crowd to
gospel numbers like "A Beautiful Life" and Bluegrass
standards such as "Rough N' Rocky" and "Your Love
Is Like A Flower".
Band members include Tyler Williams from Ohio singing
vocals, Tom Cecil of North Carolina on banjo,
Meredith Goins, a Tennessee native playing fiddle,
Jared Hensley from North Carolina playing guitar, and
from Tennessee, Dewayne Anderson on bass. |

That wraps up this week's Pickin Porch Show.
Adam Larkey and The Skinner Family are scheduled
to be here next week. Stop by and enjoy the show.
