Highlights from the last Pickin' Porch Show
As always, Tim kicked off tonight's show by leading the audience in the "Pledge To The Flag". He also took a few moments to remind everyone about the upcoming Leon Kiser Memorial Tribute Show as well as the next Song Of The Mountains concert featuring The McPeak Brothers and his very own VW Boys. And he did it all in style thanks to Daniel Bussell of the Good Company Band who graciously loaned him his cowboy hat!

Suzy Gobble helped out on the sound board tonight, ensuring that the microphones were adjusted correctly - and the music sounded great!

Mac Puckett & The Good Company Band entertained the audience for the entire two hours tonight, with Tim filling in on banjo and backup vocals. Mac and the boys picked and sang a heap of great Bluegrass songs including "Freeborn Man", "Highway of Sorrow", "Nine Pound Hammer" and one of my personal favorites: "Body & Soul".

Mac teamed up with the ultra-talented Kody Norris to give a wonderful duet performance of the beautiful gospel number "What Would You Give In Exchange For Your Soul", a favorite of Mac Puckett fans everywhere. It was quite a treat hearing such a great song performed by two of the most talented singers and musicians on the Bluegrass scene.

The always cheerful Andrew was in attendance again tonight, and as usual he kept grandma Penny on her toes as he made his way around the Comfort Systems USA Performance Center. He just seems to get cuter - and faster - all the time!

Mac is without a doubt one of the most enthusiastic performers you'll ever see. He puts his heart and soul into every song, doing his very best to make sure the audience gets the best that he has to give. You can tell that Mac really loves to sing, and absolutely no one does it better!

Well, another wonderful evening has come and gone at The Pickin' Porch Show with Mac and the gang putting on a two-hour show that was highly entertaining from the first minute to the last!
