Chris Hunter filled in for Tim White as guest host again tonight, and as always he did an outstanding job keeping the show moving and the great music coming!

Tonight's entertainment was provided by a young, but extremely talented group called The Next Best Thing. They picked and sang a wonderful mixture of classic Bluegrass and Country songs as well as several great original tunes.

Sisters Sally and Tensel Sandker (on guitar and bass respectively) took turns singing lead, and along with Dan Salyer they produced some absolutely amazing harmonies that were as good as any I have ever heard. Their performances of the Gospel tunes "Until Then" and "I Was There" were particularly moving, leaving the audience wanting to hear more. And they weren't disappointed...

Sally and Tensel are the daughters of Bluegrass superstar Rhonda Vincent, and it quickly became apparent tonight that they inherited more than their fair share of their mom's extraordinary talent and showmanship!

Local favorite Jessica Ball teamed up with an outstanding banjo picker named Karen McNees to shore up the band with some great pickin' and singin' of their own.
