Your "Bluegrass Buddy" Tim White was back to host
this week's show, and as always he kicked off the evening's
festivities by leading the audience in the "Pledge To The
Flag" before introducing a couple of cute gals to tell
everyone about one of our fine sponsors... |

| The Chick-fil-A Girls (aka Christina &
Caitlin) took the stage to read a new "jingle" to help
get the word out about the fine folks who feed the bands
each and every week. And as usual, the "chicks" were just as
big a hit as the music! |

Ken
Scoggins & Miller's Creek came up from South
Carolina to provide the musical entertainment for this
week's show, and they put on a great show indeed!
Brothers Ken & Bill Scoggins joined Doug Rankin
and our own Tim White for what turned out to be two
hours of jam-packed Bluegrass music with a bit of comedy
thrown in.
Ken played guitar, Bill played bass, and Doug did some fine
mandolin pickin' as they took turns singing lead on a number
of great Bluegrass tunes as well as the timeless
Porter Wagoner favorite "Misery Loves Company".
They treated the appreciative crowd to plenty of fine
vocals, belting out harmonies that were as finely-tuned as
any you will ever hear. These guys really put on a great
show! |
