Special Event (August 30, 2008): An Evening With Larry Sparks & The Lonesome Ramblers   Tim welcomed Bluegrass legend Larry Sparks to the Pickin' Porch stage this past Saturday night.   Larry brought with him his Lonesome Ramblers who share the stage with him all over the country. They treated the crowd to many tunes from their latest albums. "The Last Suit You Wear" released in 2007 and "I Don't Regret A Mile" from 2008. Larry also has a greatest hits CD entitled "Bound To Ride" that was released this year. The Lonesome Ramblers consist of Dee Sparks (Larry's son) on bass, Michael Feagan playing fiddle, Carl Breggren on mandolin, Josh McMurray playing banjo and Jeff Brown on guitar.   Larry gave the crowd a great show and promised to stop back by "The Porch" sometime soon.
