| Tim White returned to "the porch" this week and began
the show with a few announcements. He reminded everyone
about the special gospel concert at the
Carter Fold on November 16, 2008 and that you can watch
the Carter Fold performances on the internet at
www.carterfoldshow.com. Tim updated everyone on the
renovation work being completed on our new Song of the
Mountains Museum. Check back for details on our Grand
Opening plans. |

the "Pickin' Porch" audience. |

Savannah Vaughn. |
| Savannah's dad Ronald Vaughn plays guitar and
sings harmony. |
| Janice McCombs plays bass for the group. |
| Audey Ratliff plays mandolin and sings harmony
and lead vocals. Audey has a brand new CD out entitled
"Piece of Cake". He is also a master mandolin luthier.
